Act Now

New federal regulation requires all Texas Medicaid providers to periodically re-enroll. Providers enrolled before January 1, 2013, must re-enroll by September 25, 2016. Providers who do not complete the re-enrollment process by the deadline may not be eligible for reimbursement for services provided to fee-for-services recipients or those enrolled in Medicaid managed care organizations or dental maintenance organizations.

Re-enrollment application processing times vary based on the accuracy and complexity of the application. To avoid a lapse in enrollment status, providers should begin the process now.

The Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership has developed a Quick Reference Guide (PDF, 551kb) that consolidates all the required steps and resources in one easy-to-use documents. Download the document and begin the re-enrollment process today (PDF, 551kb).
